Job Description
The Technical Writer will produce high-quality, API-driven documentation and cross-domain guides, acting as a bridge between engineering outputs and end-user understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Write documentation directly from API specifications, including webhook documentation without requiring engineering walkthroughs.
- Develop cross-domain journey guides spanning multiple applications (up to 4+ systems).
- Own and maintain changelog voice and narrative, translating technical updates into user-impact language.
- Standardize and maintain release notes and documentation consistency.
- Drive brand adoption of canonical documentation standards across teams (e.g., KFC + TB ecosystems).
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in technical writing for APIs and developer platforms.
- Ability to interpret OpenAPI specs, webhooks, and backend systems.
- Experience creating end-to-end user journey documentation.
- Excellent written communication with focus on clarity and usability.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, product).
