YOUR ROLE

This newly established position within the Tax & Reporting team aims to further strengthen our clients global capabilities in tax and statutory reporting. In this role, you will lead a team of specialists and analysts, overseeing the accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of tax and statutory data across various countries.

You will operate at the crossroads of GBS operations, local finance teams, and external service providers, with a strong emphasis on governance, quality standards, and ongoing process enhancement.

YOUR TASKS

  • Work closely with key partners, including the Head of Tax & Statutory Delivery, Group Tax Centre, inmarket finance, regional teams, auditors and tax authorities to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Lead a team of up to 10 specialists, supporting their development, engagement and daytoday performance.
  • Oversee the full tax and statutory reporting cycle, covering statutory financial statements, CIT, VAT and indirect taxes, group tax reporting, query resolution and contributions to ETR forecasting.
  • Maintain high data quality, ensuring that information shared with external service providers is accurate and complete for statutory accounts and tax compliance.
  • Track the performance of external Tax Service Providers, making sure they meet agreed KPIs and deliver expected outcomes.
  • Strengthen internal controls and governance, updating SOPs and ensuring alignment with the Tax Governance Framework.
  • Support the team during challenging periods, stepping in on complex matters and managing escalations when needed.
  • Drive improvements across the function, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation.
  • Actively contribute to internal knowledge sharing, supporting crossteam collaboration and the companys wider community initiative

YOUR PROFILE

  • At least seven years of professional experience in tax and statutory reporting within a global organization, with preference for a background in SSC/BPO structures.
  • Confirmed experience in leading teams, including supporting their development and daily performance.
  • Extensive knowledge of statutory compliance, corporate taxation, VAT/indirect taxes, withholding taxes, as well as grouplevel tax reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Strong familiarity with monthend closing routines and preparing accurate trial balances.
  • Experience collaborating with, or supervising, external tax and compliance service providers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and how financial data moves through endtoend processes.
  • Practical experience working with ERP platforms, such as SAP or CFIN.
  • A proven ability to implement process enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • An analytical and detailfocused approach, with the capacity to manage deadlines and pressure in a global context.
  • A mindset characterized by initiative, accountability, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Nice to Have

  • Tax or statutory background related to the UK, US, Germany, Spain, or Australia.
  • Advanced skills in Alteryx.
  • Additional language proficiency, such as German, Spanish, or French.
