Your role
The System Diagnostics Engineer Aftermarket is responsible for defining, validating, and improving diagnostic capabilities for vehicles in operation. This role focuses on real-world workshop needs, ensuring that diagnostic tools, vehicle software, and service processes enable fast, accurate fault tracing and reduced vehicle downtime. The engineer will act as a bridge between aftermarket workshops, software/ECU development teams, and service tool developers, using hands-on workshop experience to drive improvements in diagnostic coverage, fault-tracing logic, and troubleshooting efficiency for vehicles in the field


In this role you will play a key role in:
• Hands-on Diagnostics & Fault Tracing
• Aftermarket Process Integration
• Vehicle Diagnostics Software & ECU Support
• Support verification and validation of diagnostic functionality in vehicle software releases


Your profile
• Hands-on experience using diagnostic and verification tools in truck or passenger car workshops.
• In-depth knowledge of fault tracing, common vehicle issues, and real workshop operations.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics concepts, DTC structure & implementation and ECU parameters & in-vehicle tests.
• Deep understanding of aftermarket workflows and value chains.
