YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of critical information systems and technologies. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of SQL Server database environments within complex enterprise infrastructures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering Microsoft SQL Server databases (System & Application);
  • Managing and supporting highly complex and business-critical environments;
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing database performance;
  • Performing performance tuning and identifying improvement opportunities;
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving operational issues;
  • Managing SQL Server backup and recovery processes using Veritas NetBackup and Commvault;
  • Supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures;
  • Providing operational support for production environments with critical service requirements;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain and enhance database platforms.

YOUR PROFILE

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration;
  • Solid knowledge of complex database architectures, including:
    • AlwaysOn Availability Groups;
    • SQL Server Clustering;
    • Replication;
  • Proven experience in database performance analysis and tuning;
  • Good knowledge of T-SQL;
  • Experience with backup and recovery management;
  • Knowledge of the following operating systems:
    • Windows Server, Linux

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments;
  • Background in supporting mission-critical production systems;
