Your Role
Review insurance business requirements, including policy lifecycle processes (e.g., underwriting, claims, billing), Business Process Flow Diagrams, user stories, and epics, and translate these into detailed functional test scenarios, test cases/scripts, test data, and traceability matrices
Perform testing across multiple levels, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and support data migration testing related to policy and claims systems
Validate end-to-end workflows for insurance products, ensuring accuracy in areas such as policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims processing
Utilize test and defect management tools (e.g., qTest, Quality Center (QC), TFS, JIRA/Zephyr/Xray) for test case management, execution, and defect tracking
Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and developers to clarify insurance-specific requirements and scenarios
Support the Test Lead in test planning, execution tracking, and defect reporting, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards
Your Profile
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of functional testing experience in Web and/or Mobile applications, preferably within the insurance domain
Strong understanding of insurance processes, such as underwriting, claims management, policy administration, and billing
Proven expertise across all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience in testing insurance systems (e.g., Policy Administration Systems, Claims Systems, Billing Systems) is highly preferred
Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools (e.g., qTest, QC, TFS, JIRA/Zephyr/Xray)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret insurance business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
