Your role

As a Senior Consultant specialising in AVEVA PI, you will work with clients across the Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, and Power & Utilities sectors to deliver industrial data management and integration solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will analyse business requirements, design and implement technical solutions, and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with industry best practices and client objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting AVEVA PI System solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations and high-availability environments.
  • Analysing business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions for clients.
  • Delivering IT/OT integrations using industry-standard protocols such as OPC, Modbus and TCP/IP.
  • Developing and configuring PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, PI Analysis and other components of the AVEVA PI platform.
  • Providing technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and support throughout project delivery.

Your profile

You are an experienced AVEVA PI professional with strong technical expertise and a consultative approach. You enjoy solving complex challenges, building strong client relationships and delivering solutions in industrial or regulated environments. You combine hands-on technical capability with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience working with AVEVA PI Systems and related technologies.
  • Strong expertise in PI System administration, configuration, integration and Asset Framework.
  • Experience working with industrial communication protocols and IT/OT environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python and/or C#, alongside exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience within Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, or Power & Utilities industries.
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
  • AVEVA PI certifications and exposure to Kepware or other OPC server technologies.
