Job Description

Overview

This role combines advanced Duck Creek solution development with hands-on environment engineering. It spans configuration, debugging, technical leadership, environment management, deployment support, and cross-functional collaboration across Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop solutions across Duck Creek Author, Manuscript, Forms, Rating, and Policy modules.
• Coordinate design and code reviews while ensuring alignment with architecture and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Lead debugging, performance tuning, and complex root-cause analysis across Duck Creek components.
• Validate technical specifications and maintain traceability throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and review test scope and artifacts, supporting SIT, UAT, and defect triage.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automation improvements, and process optimization.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing workshops and Agile/Scrum participation.
• Install, configure, and maintain Duck Creek applications, servers, and infrastructure across environments.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to gather environment requirements and ensure compatibility.
• Support environment readiness, deployment execution, configuration migration, and release management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving APIs, integrations, logs, data flows, and performance.
• Execute installation scripts, validate deployments, and perform smoke testing.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and proactively identify risks.
• Prepare detailed environment documentation including topology diagrams and runbooks.
• Participate in RCA efforts and propose remediation strategies.
• Provide expertise during onboarding, rollouts, cutovers, and major environment changes.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
