Your Role:
You will be passionate about working in high-performing teams to deliver actionable architectural outcomes for CIOs and Senior Technology leaders.
As a Senior Architecture Consultant your role will take clients from a state of chaos to clarity by creating clear, coherent and compelling architecture blueprints that align strategic intent, define the optimal future and design future-fit enterprise solutions.
As a Senior Consulting Architect your key responsibilities for this role include:
Delivery Excellence: As part of multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to the delivery of high-quality architectural advisory outcomes for our clients (CIOs, CTOs and Heads of Architecture) by bridging the gap between strategy and execution. Provide ongoing support and guidance to project delivery teams, and adjust architecture as needed to achieve desired business outcomes.
Professional Development: Acquire and maintain firm-sponsored professional certifications that are relevant to your career path and area of expertise such as TOGAF and Technology Partner certifications (e.g. Microsoft, AWS) that align with emerging client demands and evolutions in technology. Proactively participate in global architecture community initiatives and events by leveraging assets and sharing knowledge.
Business Development: Under the leadership of VPs and Directors proactively contribute to advisory pursuits that address emerging and existing client needs through compelling, differentiated and winning propositions.
Practice Development: Contribute to the growth and development of your Strategy & Architecture team by working with your colleagues on initiatives like community building, capability uplift, asset development and thought leadership.
Job Description - Grade Specific
Your Profile
- Australian Citizenship (required). An existing AGSVA security clearance is highly regarded but not essential.
- Approximately 25 years of technology advisory or architecture advisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, DoDAF, Zachman).
- Prior consulting experience across Public Sector (including Defence), Financial Services, Energy, Resources, Telecommunications, Manufacturing or Retail is preferred.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, applying strong consulting skills, structured problem solving, and foundational architecture expertise.
- Experience with architecture tools (e.g. iServer, LeanIX, Sparx) is highly regarded but not essential.
