Your role

The Senior SuccessFactors Functional Consultant Employee Central Payroll is responsible for the endtoend functional design, implementation, and operational enablement of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions across multiple geographies and payrolls.

The role combines deep payroll domain expertise, strong SuccessFactors EC/ECP functional capability, and consultinggrade problemsolving to deliver compliant, scalable, and supportable payroll solutions aligned to business and regulatory requirements.

You will:

  • Lead functional solution design for Employee Central Payroll (ECP), ensuring alignment across Employee Central, Payroll Control Center (PCC), Compensation, Finance integrations, and downstream reporting.
  • Design and validate endtoend hiretoretire and paytoreport processes, including: Master data replication (EC → ECP), Pay structures and wage types, Retroactivity, offcycle payroll, and corrections
  • Translate complex statutory and countryspecific payroll requirements into ECP configuration and design patterns.
  • Deliver multicountry / multilocation payroll implementations, managing both local statutory needs and global template consistency.
  • Support payrolls across diverse regulatory environments (e.g. APAC, EMEA, Americas), including variations in: Taxation and statutory reporting, Social contributions, Pay frequencies and calendars, and Leave, accruals, and deductions.
  • Partner with local payroll SMEs to validate design and ensure compliance.
  • Configure and support: Payroll schemas and rules, Wage types and pay components (including integration with EC and Compensation), Payroll Control Center (PCC) monitoring, alerts, and processes
  • Work closely with technical teams on integration design and validation
  • Define functional requirements for ABAP, middleware, and reporting solutions and validate outcomes against business intent.

Your profile

  • 8+ years experience in SAP payroll and/or SuccessFactors, including deep handson ECP experience.
  • Proven track record delivering multiple endtoend ECP implementations, preferably at enterprise scale.
  • Strong experience with multilocation / multicountry payroll deployments (Australia, India, Philippines, New Zealand).
  • Demonstrated capability across solution design, build, testing, cutover, and support phases.
