YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an SAP Basis Senior Consultant / Architect to design, implement, and manage the technical architecture of SAP systems across the enterprise. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Basis administration, system performance optimization, and strategic planning for large-scale SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA migrations and cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Define SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise IT strategy and design high-availability, scalable SAP landscapes for ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and other SAP components.
- Oversee/execute SAP Basis activities including installation, upgrades, patches, and migrations and manage HANA database administration and performance tuning.
- Drive SAP cloud migration initiatives (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrate SAP systems with middleware and third-party applications.
- Implement best practices for system monitoring, disaster recovery, and backup strategies and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Establish architecture standards and governance frameworks.
- Mentor Basis teams and provide technical leadership across projects.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years in SAP Basis administration and architecture.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA, HANA DB, and cloud platforms.
- Expertise in SAP Basis, performance tuning, and system optimization.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, PI/PO, CPI, and integration technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven, deep expertise of both SAP ECC and SAP 4/HANA is essential.
