Your role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Tester to ensure our business applications and processes perform reliably following system changes and deployments. In this role, you will focus on validating end-to-end functionality, data integrity, and system integrations from a business and user perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute functional test cases aligned with approved requirements and test scenarios
  • Validate end-to-end business processes and user workflows to ensure expected outcomes
  • Perform regression testing to confirm existing functionality remains stable
  • Verify data accuracy, calculations, and system outputs where applicable
  • Test system interfaces and integrations at a functional level
  • Identify, log, and retest defects using approved defect management tools
  • Prepare test evidence and contribute to test completion and sign-off activities

About You

  • Proven experience working as a Functional Tester or Test Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of businessprocessdriven testing.
  • Experience executing manual test cases and documenting results.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test execution tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test approaches.
  • Clear communication and documentation skills.


Desirable:

  • Experience testing enterprise or businesscritical applications.
  • Exposure to integration or datadriven testing environments.
  • Experience working in structured delivery or program environments.

Please note: You must be living in Australia with valid working rights to be considered due to the security requirements for the role.

This role requires you to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week within our Melbourne office.
