Process Engineer

Energetic and motivated self-starter to join the Engineering Process Group to drive organizational changes and support development teams in improving quality and performance. This person enjoys working in a high-energy environment, collaborating with multiple disciplines (software, hardware, systems, QA, etc.) to lead ASPICE assessments, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective process solutions.

YOUR ROLE

Solid understanding of ASPICE process structure (SYS, SWE, SUP, MAN)
Endtoend understanding of the embedded software development lifecycle, including: Requirements (system & software), Architecture & detailed design, Implementation, Verification & validation, Configuration & change management, Release & maintenance
Ability to explain inputs, outputs, roles, and dependencies between SDLC activities
Understanding of how lifecycle activities differ across (Waterfall and Agile / Hybrid embedded environments)
Experience applying SDLC concepts at organizational process level, not only project execution
Understand upstream and downstream SDLC activities.
Handson experience creating or updating: Development processes, standards, SOPS, Lifecycle definitions
Working knowledge of ALM tools (Atlassian, IBM DOORS preferred)
Method Park Stages is a plus
Former engineer who transitioned into process engineer role
Has personally authored or significantly updated lifecycle processes
Can explain SDLC activities beyond their former functional role

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience working with embedded development projects in Auto industry
Ability to interpret ASPICE base practices and intent, not just recite them
Ability to map ASPICE expectations into practical development processes
Experience applying ASPICE to real production projects, not just performing assessments
Ability to translate standards and models (ASPICE, ISO 26262, Cybersecurity) into: Clear process flows, Defined roles and responsibilities, Required work products, Entry / exit criteria
Experience ensuring processes are clear and unambiguous, compliant with standards and practical and deployable for engineering teams.
Ability to write clear, structured process requirements, including: (Shall / should statements, Role responsibilities, Required templates)
Experience breaking down abstract or highlevel requests into actionable process definitions
Strong attention to clarity, consistency, and avoidance of ambiguity
Strong knowledge of ASPICE
