Job Description

Location: Brussels

As a PMO, you will be a key driver in helping our clients establish structured, efficient, and compliant document management ecosystems. You will combine your analytical mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills to design and implement governance frameworks that make a real difference.

You will play a key role in:

    • Developing and configuring a harmonised document management governance system, establishing clear standards and procedures for metadata, localisation, version control, and document retention
    • Coordinating with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure system compatibility, data migration, data integrity, process efficiency, and information security across the organisation
    • Analysing existing processes, designing improved workflows, identifying optimisation opportunities, and leading initiatives to enhance document handling and information management practices
    • Training and supporting users in document management and archiving best practices, promoting adoption, and ensuring correct and consistent usage across teams
    • Monitoring compliance with document management policies, identifying gaps, and intervening where required to maintain governance standards

Your Profile

  • A Master's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience), with 2-3 years of relevant experience in document management governance or a similar role
  • Proven experience in setting up or harmonising document management governance systems within a business or technical environment, including exposure to digitalisation initiatives and change management
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to implement structured document control procedures from scratch in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Multilingual communication skills, with French or Dutch as a native language, a good command of the other national language, and proficiency in English, enabling you to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders
  • High-level stakeholder management and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach and the confidence to influence and align teams around new processes and governance frameworks
