Your role

You will take ownership of end-to-end material planning, ensuring alignment between supply plans, production needs, and supplier capabilities. You will manage and optimise MRP processes, drive supplier collaboration, and proactively mitigate risks to secure material availability and service levels. Additionally, you will leverage data and cross-functional cooperation to resolve exceptions, improve planning parameters, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Your tasks

  • Lead end-to-end material planning activities, ensuring accurate alignment between supply plans, production requirements, and supplier capabilities.
  • Translate strategic and tactical supply plans into executable material schedules, optimising supplier capacity, lead times, and contractual frameworks.
  • Own MRP processes, ensuring accurate master data, consistent execution, and alignment with global standards and policies.
  • Drive supplier collaboration and performance management, including confirmations, rescheduling, and delivery adherence to secure material availability.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate material supply risks using advanced analytics, scenario modelling, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Lead exception management, including resolution of shortages, late deliveries, and inventory imbalances while optimising cost and service outcomes.
  • Optimise material planning parameters (Minimum Order Quantity, safety stock, lead times) to improve forecast accuracy, reduce inventory waste, and enhance responsiveness.
  • Oversee order management processes, including PR-to-PO conversion, contract call-offs, and inbound flow coordination.
  • Provide advanced analytics and reporting, producing KPIs, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making and business reviews.

Your profile

  • Readiness to work late shifts (8 hours between 8AM - 4PM and 4 PM 12 AM)
  • 610 years of experience in supply chain planning, with strong expertise in material planning or supply planning in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (C1).
  • Deep understanding of MRP processes, material flow, supplier scheduling, and inventory management principles.
  • Proven track record of managing supply networks and ensuring high service levels while optimising cost and inventory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in scenario modelling and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in planning systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder or similar)
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (Power BI, experience with SQL, data warehouses, and system implementations is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of planning parameters (MOQ, safety stock, lead times) and their impact on supply chain performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
