Your Profile

As an Internal Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on internal audits across production sites, maintenance facilities, warehouses, engineering departments, and support functions throughout Belgium. You will evaluate compliance with the organisation's Quality Management System, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements with a particular focus on AS/EN9100 and aerospace and defence sector regulations while actively supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Planning and executing internal audits across multiple sites and functions, assessing compliance with AS/EN9100, ISO 9001, EASA Part-145, and other applicable aerospace and defence regulatory frameworks
  • Identifying nonconformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and producing clear, structured audit reports with actionable findings presented to stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • Leading and supporting corrective and preventive action management, performing root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, and 8D, and verifying the effectiveness of implemented actions
  • Monitoring audit KPIs and quality trends to support data-driven decision making, while ensuring lessons learned and best practices are captured and disseminated across the organisation
  • Travelling periodically between company locations and supplier sites to conduct on-site audits, acting as a driver of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a proactive quality culture throughout the business

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, auditing, manufacturing, maintenance, or operational environments, with mandatory experience in the aerospace, aeronautical, aviation, or defence industry
  • Thorough knowledge of AS9100 / EN9100 requirements and auditing principles, with a solid understanding of ISO 9001, configuration management, risk management, product safety, and counterfeit parts prevention
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct process, system, and compliance audits in accordance with ISO 19011 guidelines, with familiarity with EASA Part-145 and/or BMAR Part-145 requirements considered a strong asset
  • Certified Internal Auditor qualification and/or AS9100 / EN9100 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is strongly preferred; additional certifications related to aerospace quality or regulatory compliance are advantageous
  • Strong independence, objectivity, and professional judgement, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French; Dutch is considered a plus
