Your role

The Indirect Category Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers within assigned indirect categories, such as IT, professional services, facilities management, marketing, travel, HR services, and other non-production goods and services. The role focuses on delivering cost savings, reducing risk, ensuring supplier performance, supporting business stakeholders through strategic procurement activities and plays a critical part in maximizing value from indirect while ensuring reliable supplier partnerships and supporting broader business objectives.

Your tasks

  • Develop and implement category sourcing strategies for assigned indirect spend categories, aligned with business priorities and procurement objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, supplier evaluation, selection and commercial negotiations.
  • Analyze spend and market data to identify cost reduction, value creation and supplier consolidation opportunities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, driving continuous improvement, innovation, compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including contract negotiations, renewals, compliance tracking and commercial risk management.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide procurement guidance and promote best purchasing practices.
  • Deliver measurable savings and process improvements, including demand management, standardization and tail spend optimization initiatives.

Your profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or a related purchasing function.
  • Hands-on experience managing indirect spend categories and delivering sourcing initiatives in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract discussions, and cost reduction or value creation programs.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, sourcing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to evaluate data and support business decision-making.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
