YOUR TASKS

  • Incident Identification: Rapidly detect, assess, and classify incidents (e.g. outages, security breaches).
  • Response Planning: Maintain and execute structured incident response plans and procedures.
  • Coordination: Act as the central point of contact, ensuring clear communication (incl. in German) across teams and stakeholders.
  • Resource Allocation: Assign and manage required resources (people, tools, systems) for effective response.
  • Communication Management: Provide timely updates to internal/external stakeholders and senior management.
  • Resolution Oversight: Track incident progress and ensure timely, procedure-compliant resolution.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate incident records for transparency and analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead post-incident reviews, derive lessons learned, and enhance processes & readiness.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as IT, business continuity, or emergency management).
  • Proven experience in incident management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of incident response frameworks, such as ITIL, NIST, or ISO 27001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with incident management software and tools.
  • ITIL certification
  • English and German language (Level C1) is a must have
