Your role
As a Guidewire Functional Consultant, you will take a central role in leading functional workstreams across insurance transformation projects, working closely with clients and delivery teams to translate business needs into effective Guidewire solutions. You will guide stakeholders through requirements, design and implementation activities, while supporting quality delivery and strong business outcomes. In this role, you will work in a technology-driven environment at the heart of insurance transformation, where digital solutions, automation and AI are increasingly shaping how insurance organizations improve efficiency, customer experience and business value.
In this position you will play a key role in:
- Leading the start-up, execution and close-down of Guidewire projects and programmes, ensuring clear objectives, scope and delivery expectations.
- Working closely with clients, senior stakeholders and business analysts to clarify requirements, interpret user stories and support effective implementation.
- Analysing business needs, identifying gaps and opportunities, and contributing to design workshops, product configuration and functional solution development.
- Supporting planning, progress tracking and quality assurance across project activities, including timelines, budgets, risks and delivery artefacts.
- Driving continuous improvement, change management and team collaboration to support a motivated and high-performing delivery team.
Your profile
- Previous Guidewire experience, with certifications considered a strong advantage.
- Insurance domain expertise across personal and commercial lines, including motor, property and casualty, combined with consulting experience.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, communicate clearly and collaborate across cross-functional, client-facing teams to support effective decision-making.
- Analytical experience across business process modelling, data analysis, integrations, and end-to-end transformation initiatives.
- You are curious about new technologies and interested in how AI, automation and smart digital tools can contribute to the future of insurance and Guidewire-based solutions.
- Proficiency in Swedish is considered beneficial.
