We are seeking a skilled Functional Safety Engineer with 26 years of experience in the automotive or electric vehicle domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with functional safety standards and supporting the development of safe and reliable high-voltage battery and vehicle energy systems in accordance with ISO 26262.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Specific Responsibilities:

Perform Functional Safety Analysis in alignment with ISO 26262 across system lifecycle stages

Develop and review safety work products including HARA, FSC, and TSC

Conduct and lead safety analysis activities such as:

  • FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
  • FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)
  • FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects and Diagnostic Analysis)
  • DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis)

Identify and mitigate risks associated with high-voltage battery systems and vehicle energy systems

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety standard

Hands-on experience with safety analysis methodologies (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, DFA)

Experience in high-voltage battery systems and EV energy architecture
