Your Role

The purpose of the Desktop engineer role is to provide onsite and remote desktop support by responding to and resolving incidents and service requests whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and investigate diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults related to end-user devices.

Responsibilities

  • Providing End User device technical support and a customer-oriented service experience.
  • Manning the technical hub for walk-up requests
  • Troubleshooting desktops laptops and tablets running a Windows OS (10 and 11).
  • Working within Azure AD
  • Working with and troubleshooting common enterprise applications (MS Office 365, Adobe, etc..)
  • Troubleshooting peripherals (printers, POS terminals, barcode scanners, etc…)
  • Ability to work with composure and professionalism when dealing with multiple demands

Your Profile

  • Minimum 2 years experience with troubleshooting end user issues in a corporate environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ITIL v3 MCITP/MCTS and/or relevant technical qualifications highly regarded.
