Your Role
- As a Data Governance Consultant, you will play a critical role in enabling trusted, transparent, and well-governed data across the organization.
- You will lead the development and maintenance of data governance artifacts, support enterprise-wide data catalog initiatives, and establish governance standards that improve data quality, compliance, and business value.
- Acting as a strategic partner between business and technology teams, you will drive data stewardship practices, promote data literacy, and ensure that data assets are well-documented, discoverable, and fit for purpose.
- 6+YOE in Data Governance, Metadata management, or Data stewardship roles
- Proven experience leading data catalog initiatives (Alation preferred) and governance artifact development
- Advanced SQL and Data Analysis skills
- Data Flow Diagramming (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
- Deep understanding of data exchange standards, policies, and regulatory considerations
- Experience defining and implementing data governance policies and frameworks
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Fluent English level and good communication skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, Kafka, ETL pipelines, or integration platforms is desirable
