Your Role

As a Cyber Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing cybersecurity architectures for embedded automotive systems. You will work closely with software, hardware, systems, validation, and regulatory teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.

Your Profile

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Automotive ECU architecture and AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive).
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems, automotive hardware, and communication protocols including CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, UDS, and DoIP.
  • Hands-on experience with cryptographic technologies including AES, AES-CMAC, MAC, and secure key management using HSM/SHE.
  • Experience implementing security features such as SecOC, diagnostic hardening, and secure communication frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment (TARA) methodologies.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity feature development and deployment within Automotive OEM programs.
  • Expertise in automotive security technologies and frameworks such as HARDN, MAC3, and ECSEC.
  • Hands-on experience conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security validation activities.
  • Knowledge of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), SPDX standards, and open-source licensing compliance.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity attack vectors, threat modeling, and modern hacking techniques.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156.
  • Familiarity with secure boot, secure diagnostics, firmware protection, and over-the-air (OTA) security.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity incident response and vulnerability management processes.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance frameworks.

  • Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and recommend effective cybersecurity controls and countermeasures.
  • Design, review, and validate secure ECU architectures for AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive platforms.
  • Assess cybersecurity solutions considering risk reduction, cost, performance, usability, and compliance requirements.
  • Support cybersecurity monitoring activities, including threat intelligence, emerging technologies, and vulnerability tracking.
  • Drive cybersecurity feature implementation across Automotive OEM programs and vehicle platforms.
  • Evaluate and validate cybersecurity controls such as Secure Onboard Communication (SecOC), diagnostic hardening, key management, and secure communication mechanisms.
  • Investigate cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation activities with development and validation teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and recommendations on cybersecurity architecture and technology decisions.
  • Organize and coordinate cybersecurity validation activities, penetration testing, and compliance assessments with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with automotive cybersecurity regulations and standards.
