Your Role

6 months fixed term contract (with possible extension)

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and is passionate about cloud-native architecture and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Collaborate with architects and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
  • Be able to troubleshoot application related issues on cloud during migration and provide ongoing support, hence strong Java hands-on experience is key.

Your Profile

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools•Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices
  • Exposure to backend development using Java/J2EE is a must have•Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Education & Certifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field•AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable
