Join our Procurement Team and advance your career as a Sourcing Lead - Business Consulting!

The role is responsible for leading complex sourcing and contracting activities across the Corporate Services category portfolio, with a focus on Business Consulting, Audit, Tax, Payroll, Banking and Accounting services.

Acts as a category focal point, develops sourcing strategies, manages partner and supplier relationships, negotiates commercial agreements, and delivers sustainable value in alignment with business and procurement objectives.

In this role You will:

  • Act as the Corporate Services category expert and focal point for Procurement and business partners.

  • Develop and complete category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with business requirements.

  • Lead complex sourcing and contracting projects from strategy development through contract execution.

  • Manage supplier selection processes, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization activities.

  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder and supplier relationships.

  • Identify value creation opportunities and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Provide category guidance, mentor and support to team members.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote procurement guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement governance, policies, applicable regulations, and BP's Code of Conduct.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Law, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of sourcing, procurement, category management, or contracting experience in a multinational environment.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.

  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple organisational levels.

  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in relevant procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable criteria:

  • Proven experience within Corporate Services categories, preferably including Business Consulting, Audit, Tax, Payroll, Banking, Accounting, or related professional services.

  • Experience in category management and category strategy development.

  • Professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).

  • Experience working in global or cross-functional procurement environments.

  • Knowledge of sourcing and contracting within professional services categories.

  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
