Senior Statutory Accountant

In this role You will:

• Prepares and reviews of annual financial statements and management reports, interpretation and implementation of statutory accounting requirements, and ensuring adherence to local legal and reporting frameworks

• Drives consistency and quality across reporting processes, supports audit activities by providing technical accounting guidance and documentation, and ensures timely resolution of audit queries

• Supports operations with accountability for managing and monitoring all Finance processes and providing accurate and timely management information and reconciliations as required.

• Provides technical analysis and feedback regarding impact of projects, upgrades and modification. As well as providing feedback and updates back to the team.

What You need to be successful:

• Relevant degree (BSc) and several years of working experience, especially IFRS and/or German GAAP.

• Fluency in English, German is an advantage

• Demonstrated process expertise in statutory areas especially Statutory accounts preparation and Audit processes

• Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of systems and application tools and techniques.

• Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and strong financial understanding

• Strong communication and cooperation skills

• Self-confident appearance in relation to internal and external contacts
