Job Description:

The GBS Finance Analyst, working with minimal direction, performs indepth solve of issues caused by systems, interfaces, master data, or processing errors across the settlement and reconciliation process. This role researches and resolves advanced issues from the team, business partners, or third parties, provides realtime operational support, and develops documentation and training materials. The analyst also delivers analysis and feedback for new initiatives, recurring issues, and all facets of the settlement and reconciliation process.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare volume reports and team metrics, analyze variances, and communicate results.

  • Monitor key reports and performance indicators.

  • Review and update allocations.

  • Evaluate and identify gaps in current processes to ensure appropriate control measures are in place.

  • Update dashboards and performance tracking tools.

  • Recommend improvements to existing processes.

  • Support the team in delivering continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead process enhancements and develop and deliver associated training materials.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience working with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, structuring files for system integration).

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems and propose solutions that prevent recurrence.

  • Previous SAP experience.

  • Comfort with Power BI or strong willingness to learn and master it.

  • Experience in financial analysis.

  • Detailoriented attitude with strong control field.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

  • Ability to work effectively under constant deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize competing demands.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.

  • Problemsolving attitude with focus on process improvement.

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
