What You'll Do

We are seeking a strong candidate to join BCGs Transactions & Integrations practice team in Munich. You will have the chance to work closely with our analysts and experts on a day-to-day basis and you will get the chance to take responsibility for driving your own ideas.

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life, with an expected workload of approximately two working days per week. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

Youre good at

  • Supporting our business development efforts and internal projects
  • Monitoring European-wide deal activity to keep us in the know on deal opportunities
  • Performing research tasks from financial and deal databases to company research
  • Supporting our analyst team with financial analysis and financial modelling tasks
  • Organizational tasks: Supporting the team in organizing events and meetings, etc.


What You'll Bring

  • Ongoing Bachelors or Masters studies with high academic achievements (business administration, financial mathematics, economics, or similar)
  • Interest in corporate finance, M&A, post-merger integration and strategy topics
  • Preferably previous experience in our field (corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or similar) as an intern or working student
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities; first experience with financial and/or deal databases is a plus
  • Creative, yet structured problem solver and autonomous self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality
