The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Motor Operations Vehicle Specialist to support the management of our vehicle assets throughout their lifecycle. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to coordinate end-of-contract activity, maintain accurate operational data and help deliver efficient processes that support fair customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vehicle movements and end-of-contract activities, ensuring accurate tracking and timely progression through the asset lifecycle.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality management information, identifying trends, resolving exceptions and supporting operational decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery and operational performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and operational controls to support governance, audit requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify process improvements and support the implementation of changes that enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Escalate operational risks or issues promptly, helping to ensure customers receive a seamless and compliant experience.

Skills & Attributes

  • Experience within motor operations, vehicle logistics, asset management or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence using Excel and management information to monitor performance and resolve issues.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across teams and with external suppliers.
  • Understanding of vehicle lifecycle processes, operational controls and data governance.
  • A proactive, quality-focused approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
