About the Team & Platform (Poland Office) 

At BNP Paribas Poland you will join a team of multicultural professionals that builds and maintains a Domestic Payment Engine processing thousands of payments across multiple countries. We work with microservices developed in Agile methodology backed by CICD pipelines with monthly releases. Our architecture is constantly evolving to fulfil the demands of our stakeholders and constantly increasing payments amount. Thanks to the breadth of expertise across the team, youll have continuous opportunities to deepen your skills, learn new technologies, and contribute to crossborder initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from an engineering school or equivalent university with an IT specialization;
  • Knowledge of Java 17+, JUnit, Mockito;
  • Excellent command of sourcecode collaboration tools, particularly Git;
  • Basic knowledge about Continous Integration, HTTP network protocol, messaging systems and design patterns;
  • Nice to have: Spring/Quarkus framework, ORM framework (like Hibernate), TypeScript, HTML, Angular 21;
  • Fluent English;
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt quickly;
  • Passionate about new technologies;
  • Willingness and ability to work with local and remote multicultural teams; 
  • Constantly seeking for a way to improve your performance and knowledge;
  • Interested in banking payment processing standards.

Responsibilities  

  • Design and develop a solutions accurately reflecting business requirements and meeting highest code-quality standards (clean code, maintainability, security, performance);
  • Prepare unit and non-regression tests ensuring correctness of developed solutions;
  • Actively participate in meetings providing status updates, raising blockers, and challenging other team members including Business Analysts using possessed technical and business knowledge;
  • Be proactive sharing insights that improve overall quality of the solution; 
  • Prepare or update documentation of the project to share the knowledge with other team members; 
  • Perform code review of other team members work providing constructive feedback.
