Would you like to join our international teams that deliver applications to businesses of BNP Paribas Group entities around the world?

We are looking for a Java Technical Lead to join our development team working for BNP Paribas Personal Finance bank in Germany in order to support the company's strategy to maintain, develop and migrate applications by coordinating the internal development team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be part of features journey from idea to production by adding value all stages of Agile way of working (planning, designing, development, testing, release to production etc.)
  • Develop quality software application including documentation, testing, code review, etc.
  • Assist in Production issues
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members
  • Ensure the individual development and growth of your team members
  • Collaborate closely with international teams and stakeholders
  • Share knowledge about your area of expertise, best practices and provide functional support

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Java application development and Spring Framework
  • Experience in leading development teams as a Technical Leader or Team Leader

Technical required experience:

  • Java Standard Edition (8 and 11)
  • Preferably some experience with Java Enterprise Edition
  • Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC with REST, Spring Data, Spring Core, Spring AOP)
  • EJB / Spring Session Beans
  • JBoss AS
  • Database: SQL and/or PostgreSQL
  • Building & tools: Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus
  • Unit tests: Junit/Mockito/PowerMock
  • Version control system: GIT

Other skills:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to share technical knowledge with other team members
  • Good stakeholders management skills
