Full Job Description
We are BNP Paribas S.A. (Branch in Poland), a part of BNP Paribas Group with 200 years of experience in banking. Since 2008, we are at the heart of Warsaw, and now we are also in a brand-new location in Krakow. As Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), we offer financial solutions for corporate and institutional clients in a number of locations globally. Our Securities Services business line is a multi-asset servicing specialist. We are an exciting, dynamic, and growing operations centre; therefore, we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion of BNP Paribas operational scope in Poland. Financial Accounting Internship
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and eagerness to learn;
* Basic knowledge about accounting principles (IFRS) and tax rules will be a plus
* Graduate or pursuing last years of studies preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar
* Proficiency in Polish and B2 in English
* No prior professional experience required- enthusiasm and reliability are key.
* Availability at least 30 hours per week
Responsibilities:
* Work with deadlines
* Participate in meetings and training sessions to gain knowledge of team's practices and procedures
* Support financial accounting activities to deliver highquality ledger data and ensure compliance with BNP Paribas internal rules and regulatory standards.
* Support day-to day bookkeeping, process invoices, post entries and reconcile accounts
* Assists in implementing improvements and automation to increase the efficiency and compliance of accounting processes, thereby improving accuracy and optimizing resource utilization.
* Collaborates with team members on ad-hoc tasks and process improvements.
