Financial Operations Analyst
Location: Solihull; a flexible hybrid working model which supports you as well as enabling you to work collaboratively with your colleagues
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records at an individual customer level. You will focus on detailed reconciliation work, reviewing customer balances, and identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain clean and reliable accounting records. This position play a key role in supporting the wider finance function by ensuring that all customer-related transactions are correctly recorded and allocated.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Review debtor balances and investigate outstanding items or inconsistencies
Monitor and review suspense accounts, ensuring all payments are correctly identified and allocated in a timely manner
Ensure all accounting entries at customer level are accurate and comply with internal policies and accounting standards
Supply month-end processes related to customer accounts, including reporting and balance validation
Contribute to continuous improvement of reconciliation processes and controls
Skills & Attributes
Qualified or working towards a professional finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
Can work on own initiative
Advanced Excel Skills
Can liaise and influence all levels of management and work with other departments
