About Business line/Function: 

The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. This encompasses a wide range of financial products ranging from Foreign exchange to complex Equity Derivatives that are traded in financial markets across the globe 24/7. IT systems are integral to the business and are a key part of the value proposition to clients. These IT systems range from industry standard products for standard process automation to internally developed, often, market leading IT applications. The IT teams owning these IT systems are made up of functions that include Technical and Application production support, Business Analysis & Project Management, Development & Maintenance and Quality Control. BNP Paribas India Solutions is an equal partner in these IT functions along with colleagues in other locations including Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore & Hong Kong. This partnership ranges from sharing the IT workload, executing global strategy to owning global applications offshore. The technology and engineering landscape is wide, encompassing almost all techniques and platforms. It continues to evolve and transform with the market with the business continuing to invest in it.

Position Purpose: 

Business Management team, covers all PMO and governance-related activities for the entire Global Market IT Department

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Budget Creation:

- Expertise in preparing the Budget and Forecast both Cost and Head Counts

- Experience of working on Headcount Monitoring, Resource Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Understanding the impact of the spends planned and informing the impacted stakeholders

- Drive the aligning the headcounts for Department with global and local stakeholders

Budget Management:

- Ensuring that spends are aligned to the budget

- Keep an all-round view of the expenses for Department, to understand the fluctuations and mitigate  

   if necessary

- Ensure that the chargeback is agreed with stakeholders

- Address clarifications from stakeholders for budget related queries

- Project/ track any over consumption and assess the impact

- Track the recruitments are in line with the budget

- Work closely with HR and VMO to manage hiring

- Strong coordination skills to collate different data points from different teams

- Knowledge to analyze and reconcile the data

Generic:

         Ensure delivery on time with quality

         Ability to work with cross-divisional teams and build good working relationships.

         Ability to build controls within the processes and monitor to ensure the adherence of the controls

         Work closely with different Business Management teams in day-to-day activities.

         Ensuring timely publishing of standardized reports

         Ensuring all organizational tools are up to date for time tracking

         Preparation of presentations for senior management

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

         Able to work with large data in excel and suggest process enhancement ideas.

         Knowledge of advanced formulas & pivot tables in excel is must.

         Working knowledge of Clarity would be a plus

         SharePoint, MS Word, MS Visio, Power BI & PowerPoint

Specific Qualifications:

 Minimum 7 years of experience along with bachelors degree
