Full Job Description
Assist ERI ANZ capture this opportunity by deploying BNP Paribass full suite of debt solutions that match the evolving requirements of Australias energytransition and digitalinfrastructure buildout.
The primary responsibility of the role is to assist with the execution of transactions - which includes due diligence and credit assessment - and contribute to the origination activities of financing and structuring of transactions that both elevate the banks presence in ERI ANZs sectoral focus.
Responsibilities (Direct):
* Due Diligence and industry research on behalf of the ERI ANZ team.
* Financial and Credit risk assessment on new and existing client files.
* Prepare client pitches, presentations and marketing material in collaboration to support the origination efforts and support the successful execution of financing and advisory mandates.
* Portfolio-wide management, prudential monitoring and timely reporting including new credit proposals, periodic waiver and amendment requests, client annual reviews (required to be undertaken both in written submissions and with financial modelling).
* Ensuring ERI ANZs portfolio is in managed in compliance with internal policies and guidelines;
* Prepare, read and manipulate financial models for existing clients, upcoming financing opportunities, structuring and advisory mandates or transactions.
* Budget analysis, modelling and reporting including wider responsibilities in regards to ad-hoc group reporting as necessary.
Responsibilities (Contribution):
* Assistance with due diligence on new and existing client files as required including assistance with execution responsibilities where directed.
* Client facing support (together with the relevant Director or Vice President) through ongoing management of the client portfolio and in respect of new opportunities
What is required for you to succeed?
* Hold a degree in finance, accounting, commerce, law, or engineering.
* Possess a postgraduate degree or experience in the energy, infrastructure, or resources sectors.
* Experience in a similar analyst role in project finance or banking.
* Model high ethical standards and professional leadership for the broader team.
* Ensure extreme accuracy and quality control in all work outputs.
* Leverage commercial insight to identify profitability drivers and advance strategic business objectives.
* Deliver sophisticated written and oral communications tailored for executive and client audiences.
