We are looking for an Application Production Support Engineer Fund Accounting to join our APS (Application Production Support) team. In this position you will be the first point of contact for users of several Fund Accounting applications, providing technical support and, when needed, functional guidance. The primary focus is on keeping the production environment stable, resolving incidents quickly, and ensuring that NAV (Net Asset Value) is delivered on time.

Application Production Support Fund Accounting

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support daily production activities for fundaccounting applications
  • Diagnose and deliver highlevel functional support for accounting systems
  • Analyse and resolve and technical issues during production phases
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and help build shared team values
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of systems and the Fund Accounting business area
  • Manage performancerelated incidents and process specific action requests
  • Maintain clear communication, accurate reporting and appropriate escalation
  • Participate in testing, internal meetings and coordination calls with external service providers

Requirements:

  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries
  • Handson experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix and enterpriselevel application troubleshooting
  • Practical knowledge of ITIL best practices (incident, problem and change management)
  • Knowledge in area of fund administration, NAV calculations and/or related financial instruments
  • Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory)
  • Analytical mindset capable of interpreting accounting reports, rules and tax implications
  • Autonomous and able to lead investigations to resolution
  • Clientfocused able to identify needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Nicetohave: experience with Multifonds (MFGA), monitoring tools (Dynatrace or Splunk), Unix/Linux scripting, and scheduling tools such as ControlM or Autosys
