Job Title: Analyst Fund Accounting 

Department: ISO

About Business line/Function: Fund Accounting

Position Purpose: Fund Accounting operation / production

Responsibilities: Daily Operations (Delivery of Daily Net Asset value of Mutual funds)

Direct Responsibilities

       Analyst will be responsible for preparation of task involved in NAV delivery and reconciliations

       Acquire complete understanding of NAV Calculation & its related functions with various parties involved. For example: Custody, TA, Pricing, Corporate Actions, etc.

       Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the process by acquiring complete knowledge of NAV Calculation Processing across all funds & instrument types.

       Ensure all reconciliation breaks in TA, Cash & Stock are validated and justified for each calculated NAV.

       Ensure NAV calculations are produced in a timely manner as per SLA. Completeness of NAV packs include accurate report generation, timely delivery of reports, document and evidence controls. 

       Adhere to Quality & Timeliness as per SLA. Ensure No Material or financial Impact.

       Be proactive in resolving queries and escalate immediately to the supervisor on any issues/queries/escalations.

       Participate in preparation / updation of Key/Standard Operating Procedures for each process and fund/ client specification

       Carrying out other ad-hoc duties may arise from time to time, mainly at month ends & year ends.

Contributing Responsibilities

       Monitor the respective group mailbox and respond quickly to the queries. 

       Ensure ISAE 3402 checks are understood and followed. 100% compliance is must for all NAV packs.

       Act as a back-up in the absence of other team members. Manage the leaves appropriately.

       Ensure to minimize the unplanned leaves, especially during business-critical days, like month end, Yearend, rollover days and migration of new funds or BI events

       Should come up with minimum one process improvement/automation initiative per year 

       To share the process/product knowledge with fellow team members.

       Ensure Participation in CSR & Other engagement initiatives

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good listening and questioning ability.
