Job Title: Technical Lead AI & Engineering

About Business line/Function: 

The transformation involves identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to achieve strategic business objectives. This may include process re-engineering, organizational design, and cultural transformation to enhance the overall performance and competitiveness of the organization. The team work on initiatives such as digital transformation, operational excellence, and innovation to drive growth and improvement.

The industrialization focuses on scaling up and standardizing processes, systems, and technologies to achieve operational efficiency and consistency. This may involve implementing new technologies, such as automation, robotics, or artificial intelligence, to enhance productivity and reduce costs. The team will also work on developing and implementing standardized processes, procedures, and metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.

Position Purpose: 

The AI Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions to drive business value and innovation. The primary purpose of this role is to apply AI and ML techniques to real-world problems, developing intelligent systems that can learn, reason, and interact with humans and other systems.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

The AI Engineer will have following responsibilities: 

Design and develop end-to-end machine learning and deep learning pipelines.

Build, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs) and generative AI solutions.

Architect scalable AI infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or IBM IV2).

Collaborate with product and data teams to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.

Monitor model performance, conduct A/B testing, and drive continuous improvements.

Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, explainability, and bias mitigation.

Contributing Responsibilities

Data analysis and preparation: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to develop and train AI/ML models.

Collaboration with stakeholders: Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to identify business problems and develop AI/ML solutions.

Maintenance and updates: Maintain and update AI/ML models to ensure they remain accurate and effective over time.

- GPT-4, Claude, Gemini or any Open AI API compatible LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling

- MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

Specific Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree 

Prior experience in similar domain.

Technical Skills:

Programming skills: Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, R, or Java.

AI/ML frameworks: Experience with AI/ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

Data analysis and visualization: Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
