Location: New York, NY, United States
The Network Operations Analyst will deliver first, second, and thirdline technical support, maintenance, and monitoring of Cantor International Services Limited's highly available global financial network. The role blends daytoday troubleshooting with automation initiatives, AIdriven problem solving, and participation in infrastructure design and implementation projects across datacenter and enterprise environments.Responsibilities
- Deliver daytoday network support and resolve incidents within business recovery targets.
- Lead rootcause analysis for internal and customer outages and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide technical assistance to other teams and mentor junior staff.
- Execute project tasks such as new installations, platform refreshes, and service turnups (CDN, VPN, Extranet).
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts and AIbased tools to reduce manual effort.
- Create and update infrastructure documentation, design diagrams, and service review reports.
- Maintain and enhance enterprise monitoring solutions, reviewing new tools and practices.
- Implement BAU changes (breakfix, moves, adds, changes) following the change management process.
- Participate in oncall rotation (including weekends) and a weekday shift rota covering 08:0016:00 or 12:0020:00 GMT.
- Perform adhoc duties such as datacenter visits, network audits, and powermaintenance support.
Qualifications
- Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching certification.
- JNCIAJunos certification.
- Wireless networking certification (e.g., CWNA or equivalent).
- Strong fundamentals in Junos OS and Cisco IOS configuration and monitoring.
- Handson experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and route manipulation.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers from implementation to operation.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience in a highvolume, highavailability financial trading environment.
- Experience designing, installing, and supporting enterprise WiFi (Extreme Networks a plus).
- Creative, curious approach to applying AI tools for network operations and troubleshooting.
Compensation Expextations: $160,000 - $170,000 Total Comp
