Full Job Description
Location: Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
This is a multi-faceted senior role on the investment committee, sitting within the macro analysis pillar of our investment process and reporting to the CIO.
Key Objectives
- Helping in the generation of alpha through investment and trade ideas across our entire fund range
- Improving the analytical rigour of the entire 3 pillar investment process
- Establishing relationships with key investors, both existing and potential to help in growing the revenue of the business
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- The Formulation and formalisation of the funds views and understandings of the mega trends and thematics that are driving long term investment returns.
- Helping in the application of the above into real world stock and sector opportunities.
- The Formulation and formalisation of the funds views and understandings of the topical trends and thematics that are driving short term investment market
- Monitoring of all relevant shorter term data points
- Improving the overall analytical rigour and research discipline within the team
- Leading the adoption of AI into all aspects of the CFAM investment and risk management process.
- Sustainability Investment thought leadership and risk management- first line defence in ensuring all funds are meeting their sustainability regulatory risk requirements. Main CFAM contact with the groups Sustainable Investment Committee. This will be a PR24 role.
- Contributing to the overall idea, trade and investment generation process.
- Leading client meetings, presentations and fund raising events, articulating the funds performance and overall positioning and views.
- Contributing thought pieces to the media through our PR firm and cantor publications
Qualifications
Key Requirements
Essential
- Proven economic and market experience gained within a leading Blue Chip buy-side firm.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a collaborative investment culture
