Embark on a transformative journey as part of the Software Engineer where youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the resilience, scalability, and reliability of critical payment systems within the Merchant Services domain. You will be a key contributor championing quality and performance for systems that power merchant transactions, focusing on driving improvements in system stability, throughput, efficiency, and control.

Working closely with BA, SA, Engineering teams and stakeholders across Merchant Services, you will help deliver high-performing solutions through agile delivery models. You will collaborate to understand system benchmarks, identify performance bottlenecks, and lead performance engineering initiatives while interfacing with technology partners to ensure optimal system behaviour under varying load conditions.

Leading the ongoing drive to enhance platform performance and reliability, you will champion a data-driven and collaborative approach, ensuring that performance considerations are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Additionally, ensuring compliance with performance standards, risk controls, and service-level expectations will be a key responsibility.

To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have experience with:

  • Large-Scale Platform Engineering Experience using technologies like Java, Spring boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event-Driven Architecture.
  • Ownership of strategic technology roadmaps and platform modernization initiatives.
