Join us as a Mortgage Market Leader, where youll play a key role in growing residential mortgage business through close partnerships with brokers and intermediaries. Youll take the lead in building and maintaining relationships that generate a steady flow of new opportunities, turning these into active pipeline and completed lending. Alongside this, youll stay close to market trends to identify new ways to grow and strengthen the mortgage proposition.

Youll also play an important part in making sure activity is delivered in a wellcontrolled way, working with governance, risk, and compliance teams across the UK and Crown Dependencies. This includes supporting thirdparty oversight, financial crime requirements, and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal frameworks.

As a visible presence in the market, youll represent Barclays at key industry events and act as a trusted contact for a wide range of external stakeholders, including developers, estate agents, housing organisations, regulators, and high-value clients. Internally, youll contribute to product and cross-team activity, helping connect commercial priorities with governance and customer outcomes.

To manage business development and set the strategic direction. Provide support to the bank's senior management team, and to manage business development risk across the organisation.

  • Management of business development activities, including oversight of colleagues and their performance, implementation of departmental goals and objectives, oversight of department efficiency and effectiveness.  .
