Embark on a transformative journey as a Large Holdings Regulatory Reporting Analyst.  At Barclays, our vision is clear to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative. As a Large Holdings Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Barclays' regulatory compliance by maintaining robust controls across the Large Holdings reporting framework. Acting as a key first line of defence, you will perform pre-trade approval assessments to ensure positions are reviewed against regulatory thresholds and reporting requirements before execution. You will support the delivery of accurate and timely regulatory reporting, effectively manage reporting exceptions, and contribute to the resolution of incidents to ensure the continuity of Service Level Agreement-critical processes and the integrity of the firm's reporting obligations.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

    Investment Banking or Operations experience

    Large Holdings experience (SEC 13F, 13H, 13G)

    Ample Analytical skills

    Excellent verbal and Written skills

Other highly valued skills include:

    Good equity or options background

    Trade and Transaction Reporting Operations experience

    Great time management skills

This role is regulated by SEC.

Minimum Salary: $64,000.00

Maximum Salary: $87,000.00

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise
  • Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise
