Embark on a transformative journey as a Full Stack Developer. At Barclays, our vision is clear to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. As a Full Stack Developer in Barclays Fraud and Identity Verification (IDV) team, youll help build and evolve the platforms that protect millions of customers and transactions every day, forming a critical backbone of Barclays fraud prevention strategy. This role gives you working experience with modern Java microservices powering real-time risk assessment, authentication, and verification systems that directly enable customer trust, business growth, and digital innovation at scale. Youll grow your career in a high-impact engineering environment where your work ships to production, solves meaningful problems, and contributes to secure, seamless journeys across Barclays global channels.

To be successful as a Full Stack Developer, you should:

  • Have a solid foundation in Java fundamentals, with an interest in building and supporting backend services that operate at scale

  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills, with curiosity to understand how technology can prevent fraud and protect customers

  • Be eager to learn modern engineering practices in microservices, APIs, and CI/CD while collaborating effectively within an agile, cross functional team

Other highly valued skills include:

  • Exposure to Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, or microservices-based architectures

  • Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and basic data modeling concepts

  • Interest in cloud platforms, DevOps, or site reliability concepts within large-scale systems

Minimum Salary: $100,000
Maximum Salary: $110,000
