Job overview: Here at AXA Health, were excited to announce new opportunities for 2 Pricing Underwriters to join our dynamic commercial department. One of the roles we have advertised is permanent and the other is a 12 month fixed term contract. As a Pricing Underwriter, youll be responsible for setting prices and managing a varied portfolio of large corporate renewals. Your role will involve negotiating terms, tracking portfolio performance, and understanding how your efforts influence overall Large Corporate results. Youll apply your risk assessment expertise to underwrite large corporate clients, working closely with our sales team to support the renewal of existing accounts and to attract new business. Join us and contribute to our pursuit of excellence! Key responsibilities: Price new business and renewals for large corporate group Private Medical Insurance (PMI) accounts. Provide technical pricing support and assist sales account managers and other stakeholders with justification of terms to enhance the negotiation process. Engage in diverse projects that may extend beyond the large corporate sector, expanding your expertise and impact. Support training initiatives through collaboration with the Pricing Manager to train new team members and assist in the pricing training of sales colleagues. Manage and monitor the performance of your portfolio to gain insights into its contribution to overall Large Corporate results. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office in Tunbridge Wells, visiting clients or attending industry events. Youll be required in the office for 5 days per week for the first 8-12 weeks of your training. We know that some candidates may be discouraged from applying if they don't meet every requirement. Desire to thrive in high-pressure situations, utilising your negotiation and influencing skills to navigate requests from clients and brokers.
