As part of the Data & AI Office, the AI Factory is a delivery center dedicated to designing, building, and scaling Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation solutions for AXA Partners' business lines and transversal departments. The AI Factory team, operating across France and Spain, delivers high-impact solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Intelligent Automation platforms such as UiPath and RPA. As Head of AI Factory, you will lead and scale this delivery center at a pivotal moment in its growth. You will define its technical vision, build and structure a high-performing team, and ensure successful delivery of AI and automation initiatives that generate measurable business value across AXA Partners. This is a leadership role combining strategic vision, technical depth, people leadership, and strong stakeholder management, acting as a key enabler of AXA Partners' AI transformation agenda What youll be doing: You will lead a multidisciplinary team of AI Engineers, Tech Leads, and Automation Developers, currently composed of a mix of internal and external resources. A key priority will be to actively grow and structure the team, including recruiting Tech Leads and Engineers to strengthen internal capabilities, improve the internal-to-external resource ratio, and secure sustainable delivery capacity over time. Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the AI Factory's technical strategy, multi-year roadmap, and delivery standards, in alignment with AXA Partners' business and IT priorities Contribute to the broader Automation & AI strategy, acting as a key thought leader on AI delivery models, emerging technologies, and industrialization best practices Support identification & promotion of new AI and automation opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and experimentation Delivery & Execution Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI and automation solutions, ensuring quality, reliability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives Drive integration of AI solutions within AXA Partners' IT landscape, including cloud architecture, APIs, and data platforms Ensure robust project governance across the portfolio: planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting Team Leadership & Talent Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team of AI Engineers, Tech Leads, and Automation Developers. Team will be organized in 4 to 5 squads of 4 to 6 people, with around 50% of internals Drive an active recruitment plan to grow internal capabilities, with focus on Tech Lead and Engineer profiles to improve internal/external staffing ratio and secure long-term delivery resilience Coach and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and a strong delivery culture Governance, Compliance & Security Establish and enforce rigorous governance frameworks for AI projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, AI Act, etc.), data security standards, and AXA Group policies Support promotion of responsible AI practices across all initiatives Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, IT governance, and external partners regarding AI Factory deliverables and capabilities Communicate effectively on progress, risks, and value delivered to senior leadership (Local CxO, Global Transformation Leaders) Contribute to regular presentations to the IT Senior Leadership Committee Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AI solutions are embedded into business processes and drive tangible outcomes When required, the holder of the position will be designated to On Call Duty if requiered.
