Full Job Description

Financial Planning & Analysis team provides accounting and reporting support to XLCSSE and NIEs legal entities. The key activities of the team involve financial close, quarterly management accounts, preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, reconciliations, processing journals, external audit support, coordination with Third party for bookkeeping and its related reconciliation, etc. What youll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements both from Statutory (UK GAAP/Local GAAP) for XLCSSE BUs and NIE BUs. Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Management accounts. Perform Quarterly analytical review including various reconciliations for BS and P&L. Responsible for supporting statutory audit requirements and related queries. Review inter-company variances and liaise with the respective teams to correct these. Monitor quarterly expenses and perform checks on IO commission percentage charges for written and earned. Be Innovative and take up process improvements and help other members in implementation of approved projects. Be a team player, help the team to meet critical deliverables and be involved in the development of team. Ability to communicate well and Manage relationships with a range of stakeholders. Provide support on ad hoc queries and projects. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. You will report to Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.
