**Assistant Manager, Chief Accounting & Capital Office**
As the Assistant Manager in our Chief Accounting & Capital Office, you'll drive external reporting and ensure compliance with statutory rules (GAAP/IFRS, regulatory requirements) for AXA XL's global insurance operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and posting FX, treaty, and loss journals, as well as quarterly QMA forms (350, 710, 800, 120u).
- Creating Flash reports featuring KPIs and forecasted numbers, performing intercompany analyses, and managing premium receivables.
- Contributing to AI and automation initiatives, supporting projects, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Providing expert analysis of complex financial data and effective communication of findings.
Bring your Chartered Accountant designation, exceptional analytical skills, and proven experience in a similar role. External reporting finance team is involved in producing the financial statements based on the statutory rules and as per the local GAAP/ IFRS requirements on a quarterly basis. The team is also involved in preparation of the various reports and forms as prescribed by the Insurance regulatory authorities of various countries where AXA XL writes its insurance business from on a quarterly and annual basis. The team produces various reports for the regulator to show we maintain sufficient level of solvency and liquidity as prescribed by the regulator. The team prepares various reports as prescribed by corporate close calendar. The team performs data clean ups and prepares various source system & other reconciliations to support various stakeholders and auditors. What youll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? Preparation and posting of relevant Journals associated with FX, Treaty, Losses etc. Assisting in preparation of QMA forms like QMA 350, QMA 710, QMA 800 and QMA 120u. Preparation of Flash report (which includes reporting of our KPIs and forecasted numbers and their comparison) Performing FIC controls which includes Intercompany Analysis, Aging of Premium receivables etc. Participate in projects as required to ensure that financial data are handled in full accordance with statutory requirements. Support and contribute to AI and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office.
