Job Title Digital Workplace Specialist
Location Brisbane
Description

At Ashurst Perkins Coie, we're helping shape the future economy. With a global team of more than 3,500 legal professionals across 52 offices, we partner with leading organisations to solve complex challenges across a diverse range of industries, with a distinct strength in technology, energy & infrastructure, and financial services. Our people work on market-leading matters that drive innovation, growth, and transformation around the world. For Ashurst Perkins Coie, innovation is our tradition.

What makes Ashurst Perkins Coie a great place to work?

  • Flexible work options - part-time, working from home and additional leave
  • Health and wellbeing benefits, gym membership, and discounted corporate health plans
  • Career advancement - client secondment opportunities, global opportunities, and award-winning Learning & Development programs

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Workplace Specialist to join us in Brisbane on a 12month fixed term contract. You will play a key role in shaping the digital experience for our people by designing, building and maintaining pages and sites across two of our most important platforms: SharePoint Online (our intranet) & Sitecore (our public-facing website). This is a hands-on and varied role which will include writing code, designing layouts and developing web experiences from scratch alongside delivering change requests, strategic initiatives, platform support and user education.

A full job description including a breakdown of responsibilities can be found attached to the role on our careers page https://www.ashurstperkins.com/en/careers/

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Hands-on development experience with Sharepoint Online - building sites, pages, hubs, web parts, content types, lists and libraries from the ground up
  • Ability to write and edit code in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and JavaScript being comfortable working directly in code not purely through drag and drop editors
  • Experience designing and developing web pages (.NET/C# stack) on Sitecore or similar CMS including creating components, building templates, configuring layouts and publishing content to a live public facing website
  • Strong visual and UI/UX design skills ideally with a portfolio showing websites or intranet sites you have designed and built
  • A service oriented mindset with the ability to triage, prioritise and resolve platform issues efficiently combined with the technical depth to fix issues

We value diverse perspectives at Ashurst Perkins Coie, so even if you don't feel you meet all of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply.

If you require any support and adjustments to participate equitably in our recruitment process or in the workplace, please contact: globalresourcing@ashurstperkins.com
