Accentures Sourcing & Procurement practice is growing, and were expanding our Direct Materials Center of Excellence with a talented, forward-thinking Design to Value (DtV) Consultant. Our clients face complex challenges that require holistic solutions blending functional expertise, data-driven insights, digital innovation, and deep industry knowledge. Our mission: help clients unlock significant value by optimizing product design, engineering, and cost structures, driving strategic improvements in product development and lifecycle management through Design to Value.

You are:

As a Design to Value Consultant, you will support crossfunctional teams in identifying, analyzing, and executing product and cost optimization opportunities. Youll contribute to DtV workshops, product teardowns, cost modeling efforts, and detailed analyses that uncover actionable insights. Working closely with client stakeholders, engineers, sourcing teams, and designers, youll help shape recommendations that improve product value, quality, and profitability.

You will collaborate with teams across industries to develop DtV strategies, evaluate product architectures, build shouldcost models, and support value engineering initiatives. You will also contribute to project deliverables, internal knowledge development, and labbased analysis activities.

The work:

  • Conduct product, cost, and design analyses to identify value improvement opportunities using DtV and value engineering methodologies.

  • Support the execution of DtV workshops, including preparing materials, analyzing inputs, and synthesizing insights into clear recommendations.

  • Perform shouldcost modeling, cost breakdowns, and benchmarking to evaluate product cost drivers and alternative design options.

  • Participate in product teardowns and labbased assessments to analyze components, materials, and manufacturing approaches.

  • Support crossfunctional teamsengineering, procurement, operationsin evaluating product redesign and optimization concepts.

  • Develop clear, databacked presentations and deliverables that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with project leads to manage workstreams, track progress, and ensure highquality outputs.

  • Contribute to internal capability building through knowledge documentation, tool development, and bestpractice sharing within the DtV team.

  • Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and contribute to internal capability building.

This role requires working onsite in the Peachtree Corners (Atlanta) lab environment to support product teardown and handson activities
