Accounting & Reporting Professional

At a glance

As an Accounting & Reporting Professional, you will contribute to high-quality financial reporting that supports both management information and external reporting, including the annual and interim financial statements. You will work close to the core of the banks consolidation process and gain hands-on experience with IFRS reporting in a complex, international and regulated environment.

This role offers a strong learning curve, increasing ownership over time and the opportunity to understand the full story behind the numbers.

Your job

You will support the consolidation and reporting process by working with financial data from multiple supplying entities, ensuring figures are accurate, well-understood and consistently reported. You have a solid understanding of financial statements balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements and are familiar with intercompany reporting and consolidation principles.

You contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities by analysing figures, identifying inconsistencies and discussing outcomes with reporting entities and internal stakeholders. You work closely with colleagues from Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Risk, Policies and other business lines, which keeps the work varied and engaging.

You are involved in preparing external financial statements and disclosures, supporting IFRS updates and working with external auditors. Alongside regular reporting activities, you contribute to improving processes, documentation and controls. Over time, there is room to broaden your scope or develop deeper expertise in specific areas such as equity, risk or provisions reporting.

Working environment

You will join the Consolidation team, part of the Financial Accounting & Reporting group, working closely with External Reporting and Sustainable Finance Reporting. Together, the teams are responsible for the preparation and publication of the half-year and annual integrated report.

You will work in a diverse and supportive team where collaboration, learning and continuous improvement are central. The atmosphere is professional yet approachable, with space to ask questions, share ideas and build expertise together.

Your profile

You are curious, analytical and motivated to grow within accounting and reporting. You enjoy working with figures, understanding what drives them and clearly explaining outcomes to others.

You hold a university degree in Accountancy, Business Economics or a related field and have 46 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting. Experience gained at a Big 4 audit firm is preferred, and experience within the financial services sector is an advantage.

You have a good working knowledge of IFRS, consolidated accounting and financial statement preparation, and are familiar with period-end processes in an international setting. You hold a professional qualification such as RA, ACCA, CPA/CA or equivalent. You communicate clearly, work accurately and are fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage.

We are offering

A challenging and future-oriented role in an international environment, where you can deepen your IFRS and consolidation expertise while working on meaningful reporting deliverables. We invest in your professional development and offer room to grow in responsibility and impact over time. You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package aligned with your experience and role.

To apply, submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you would be a great fit for our team. We look forward to hearing from you.
